Yes, we do ship outside the United States per manufacturer guidelines.

Yes. We sell brand new and used outboards.

No. Sorry, we do not accept trade-ins outside of our own local market. Due to shipping costs, it is nearly impossible to run a successful trade-in operation. Selling your engine outright will generally yield higher returns and there is no wasted shipping cost.

To choose a fuel-efficient outboard motor for your boat, you have to match the motor to your boat's weight and its typical speed. You can also choose a four-stroke outboard with EFI that burns cleaner and is more efficient than the 2-stroke or carbureted engines for the ride where you want to cruise or troll.

If you are looking to shop Mercury outboards online, it gives you more horsepower and configuration options than most local shops stock, plus you can easily compare prices. If you prefer Mercury outboard you can choose from its FourStroke and Verado lines, which are known for smooth power delivery and a wide dealer network for parts and service.

When you compare Mercury with other brands, you must note that it stands out for horsepower range and advanced tech. Whereas other brands like Suzuki and Yamaha are known for reliability, Honda for quieter running, and Tohatsu for lighter-duty builds.

Suzuki outboards are known for their fuel efficiency and reliability, as they contain Lean Burn technology that adjusts the air-fuel mix at cruising speed. They're also lighter than many competitors, and owners value the multi-year warranty and consistent parts availability, which is why Suzuki outboard motors are popular among boat owners.

Look past the price tag. A good online dealer states whether they're an authorized reseller, spells out shipping costs and return terms upfront, and offers real phone support someone who can answer horsepower and shaft-length questions before you buy.

Honda's outboard range spans small portables (2–20 hp) for dinghies and jon boats up to high-output V6 models for offshore boats. Stock varies by model year, so confirm horsepower, shaft length, and control type are available before ordering.

Maintenance like swapping the oil and filter on schedule, flushing the cooling system after saltwater use, inspecting the water pump impeller every year, and using fresh fuel with a stabilizer while it’s in storage. These maintenance tasks can help you keep your outboard motor running efficiently.

Yes, Yamaha outboard motors are pretty reliable and fuel efficient, especially the four-stroke outboards, which tend to be known for that steady dependability. The dealer network is also large, so repairs and parts are easier to get. They also feature electronic fuel injection and multi-point injection on larger models, which improve efficiency and resale value.

Electric outboards work best for smaller boats, dinghies, and also for freshwater fishing, where it matters more that you get quiet, zero-emission power than that you have a long range. Most of these models will fit on boats under about 15 to 20 feet, but they usually have shorter run times than gas engines, so they feel a bit more suited for placid water, not really offshore cruising. In other words, they’re the go-to choice when you want that clean drive and less noise.

For small boats, inflatables, dinghies, and jon boats, look at portables from 2.5 to 20 hp, typically 30–90 lbs and easy to lift solo. Suzuki, Honda, Tohatsu, Mercury, and Yamaha all build strong options in this range.
